A new era of Villanova Women’s Basketball began last year with the first season of head coach Denise Dillon ’96. The Wildcats advanced to the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament and the quarterfinals of the WNIT. Then-sophomore Maddy Siegrist was a unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team honoree, Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Year and USBWA Honorable Mention All-American. Dillon garnered Big 5 Coach of the Year accolades. Under Dillon and her staff, the future of the program is bright.
