What is 1842 Day?
1842 Day is Villanova's annual day of giving, a 24-hour event for the entire Villanova community to come together and make a gift of any size to the area of their choice.
Tuesday, October 8 marks the University's eighth annual 1842 Day. This is our opportunity to show pride and gratitude for the impact Villanova has on each of us, in our communities and around the world.
Does my gift count towards my giving society membership?
Yes! Your gift of any size on 1842 Day will count toward your annual and lifetime giving totals as well as giving society memberships such as the President's Club and President's Club Associates.
Does my gift count towards Espiritus Nova: The Campaign for Villanova University?
Yes, all gifts made on 1842 Day count towards this ambitious fundraising initiative! Learn more at espiritusnova.com.

Is there a minimum gift amount?
The minimum 1842 Day gift is $1.00. While the most common gift is $18.42, you can give the amount of your choice.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
