Thank you to the thousands of Villanovans who celebrated our eighth annual 1842 Day. Together, we raised transformational support for the programs, people and places that make our University so special. We are truly grateful for the generosity of our community—and every gift made was part of Espiritus Nova: The Campaign for Villanova University, our most ambitious fundraising initiative in University history. This 1842 Day, you showed the world what it means to be a Villanovan!

1842 Day By the Numbers

• 9,341 donors gave $8,160,516 in support of nearly 475 areas of campus. 
• $2,180,000+ was unlocked from 13 challenges. 
• 96 student organizations participated in the Student Giving Power Hour and raised $49,895 from 2,352 donors.
• 108 student organizations were supported from 383 Cat Cab rides. 
• 114 volunteers inspired support for more than 160+ areas of campus.
• 1842 Day donors represented all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and 24 additional countries across 6 continents.
